*Disclaimers: Prices and links may change over time. Photos of products belong to their sellers not me. Also, I make no money if you visit these sites or if you end up making purchases through the links below. I only make money from you if you book my photographic services, so please enjoy these unbiased recommendations. (And, remember, custom-made personal photographs of yourself and loved ones make a wonderful holiday gift to be shared with family and friends!) *
Camera Straps
Most cameras come with a neck strap, but they’re not necessarily the most stylish or the most comfortable. You can buy all sorts all over the internet—from a beautiful flowered scarf strap to a personalized leather strap—to match your particular photographer’s style and personality. Depending on what kind you get, you can spend anywhere from $12 to $50 or more for this gift.
Here are a couple of cool ones I found:
Floral Camera Strap ($12.00)
Scarf Camera Strap ($35.00)
Personalized Leather Strap ($44.04)
Photography Related T-shirts
There’s nothing like a comfortable T-shirt that truly expresses who you are. There’s a variety of shirts for a variety of photographers. I personally received the first on the list from my sister as a birthday present and when I wear it I feel like the boss wife, mom, and small business owner that I am.
“Wife. Mom. Boss.” T-shirt ($5.99)
“I Shoot People” T-shirt ($17.95)
“Living the Photog Life” T-shirt ($25.00)
Photography Jewelry
Jewelry is an easy, aesthetically pleasing gift. It’s a nice, low-key way for someone to wear who they feel they are. Prices can vary to fit every budget, so you can treat the photographer in your life without killing your wallet.
Vintage Camera Lens Cuff-links ($2.99)
Camera Wish Bracelet ($3.47)
Camera-shaped Watch Necklace ($6.89)
Leather Photography Wrap Bracelet ($12.50)
Men’s Camera Lens Spinner Ring ($13.66)
Camera Bags
If you’ve got a little more money with which to spoil your favorite photographers, you could give them a new bag to hold their gear in. I find it’s nice to have a variety of bags, each meeting a different need. I have one (largish) camera bag for when I go on a professional shoot, as well as, for more informal occasions, a nice pretty one that can double as a purse but still keep my camera safe. It would also be nice (hint, hint, Honey) to maybe have even a small soft camera case for me to just throw (I mean, gently place) my camera into whatever backpack, briefcase, or purse I have with me at the moment.
Camera Bag Case Liner ($6.62)
Cupcake DSLR Camera Cover Bag ($27.00)
Shady Cool Blue Camera Bag ($54.00)
Small Backpack Camera Bag ($64.90)
Grey Canvas Messenger Camera Bag ($95.00)
Honorable Mentions
Here’s all the other stuff that doesn’t quite fit in the above categories but would still make some super cool presents.
Nikon Camera Flash Drive ($6.23): It’s a camera where the mini lens is actually a flash drive! Perfect for storing their many photos!
Lens Cap Strap Holder ($10.00): This handy-dandy thing slips on your photographer’s neck strap and holds his or her lens cap so that it will never be lost again!
Camera Print Infinity Scarf ($15.99): For the stylish photographer who wants to add some shutterbug glam or just needs help keeping her neck warm.
The Camera Cookie Cutter Set ($18.00): Cameras! Cookies! Win-win!
I hope this list helps to give you some ideas on what to buy for your favorite photographers, whether for family photographers or wedding photographers. If you found other cool gifts, we’d love to hear about them! Drop us a comment down below! Happy shopping!
